I have recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. I am recently divorced so was just getting on my feet when I got my diagnosis. Even though it was caught early, it had already spread to the lymph nodes. Because of my age (48), I have elected to do chemo (started yesterday) and radiation after that.
It has been amazing to me the out pouring of love and support from my friends and family. I purchased these bracelets for all of the people who have and will continue to support me on this journey.

My son sent me this quote yesterday after we sat ALL day getting my chemo. It is from conductor Roy Goodman, "Remember that happiness is a way of travel, not a destination."

My father passed away 3 months ago. He was the most positive and inspiring man alive. My father started Alco tool supply and sold it 20 years later, due to having M.S. My father never gave up or gave in. He helped everyone in need. He helped his employees start businesses even when they were going to be his competitors. His motto was "there are enough businesses out there for everyone." He gave scholarships to all the schools in the surrounding area of Elkhart, IN. He created the bumper stickers I Love My Job..... I Love America.... I Love Mondays.... He supported our troops with such amazing support that they honored him along with our president for his unrentless work ethics and support for everyone in need. So when the time came and my father lay in the hospital, and my mother, sister and I would not leave his bed side for two weeks, our motto was "We are not leaving here without him." I went to the gift shop in the hospital and there were the Positivity Bracelets. In a set of three. I bought them for myself, mom and my sister. At my father's viewing my little niece put my sister's bracelet in my father's hand. Because that was what my father was all about and his great faith in God. So now we all wear the Positivity Bracelets. We are connected as one through the wearing of our bracelets and we carry a supply to give to people that need to be lifted.
Yes my father passed. But he is walking with God. And reminding us everyday to be positive.
Thank you,
Sherry Irion

I started the year off thinking that 2013 was gonna be my year! Because two years ago, my oldest son (16) underwent hip surgery because his labrum in the hip had torn along with rehab and then last May I tore my acl and mcl in my right knee and underwent surgery and rehab. Every time I get down I think of all the positives in my life - beautiful family, nice home and good jobs. Well, my dad was diagnosed three weeks ago with lung cancer and treatment has not begun yet as they are still doing scans and tests..... well my mom gave me a "positivity" pink bracelet and I LUV IT! I wear it everyday. Not just as a reminder to be positive but to remind me that my daddy will survive!!!!

I bought three bracelets at St. Francis Hospital in Colorado Springs when I delivered my son. I was diagnosed with pre-eclampsia and delivered 7 1/2 weeks early. They had placed me on magnesium sulfate and labetalol for high blood pressure reaching levels of over 173/103 which is close to seizure activity. When I delivered my son the nurse wouldn't listen to me when I said he was coming and I had told her three times, then all of the sudden my 4 lb. 8 oz. son shot out of me like a bullet, falling between the two pieces of the delivery bed into the placenta bucket. The nurse then decided to call the doc! I thought he was dead! The magnesium had made me partially deaf and I couldn't hear him crying. He was alive and very healthy for a 24 week term baby. That night and the next I hemorrhaged and had to go through so much to get the bleeding to stop they kept me on pitocin (the drug used to induce labor and make you contract) for three extra days. My son needed a little oxygen for the first day and the biliruben lights for jaundice for a couple days but is strong and healthy. The delivering doc didn't come in for assessment till ten minutes after he was born and then acted like nothing happened. I was so angry for what could have happened and the lack of concern from the doctor. My nurse had come to see me a week after in my hospital room to apologize and I realized that even though she made a mistake by not calling the doctor sooner, I hadn't realized that I had a healthy baby boy, I was alive, and we were going to have a wonderful life. The positivity bracelet reminds me every day that things could go wrong but we are strong beings and can make it through almost anything as long as we focus on the positive things in life.

So here we are three months later we were able to leave the hospital after only a month and a half instead of three and we are both great. I still have
pre-eclampsia; it can last up to a year after the birth but birth is the only cure and time to get the blood pressure back to norm.:) Seeing my son with his three-year-old sister is so beautiful and their strength and love together is the best posi+ivi+y ever.

I bought these bracelets, one for me and one for my best friend. She has always been there for me and was positive, uplifting, and understanding whenever I needed her. I always try my best to do the same for her! We both get frustrated and frazzled pretty easy, but now we can just look down at our wrists and be reminded of each other and to stay positive. I love Katy!

A friend and colleague of mine has just passed her bracelet on to me - we've just come through a similar traumatic relationship demise and have cried over each other! However, we are women, we are strong, we are feisty and resilient and we have amazing strong women in our lives and for that, we are truly blessed.

I will pass this bracelet on when I am ready and when someone who needs it more than I do arrives in my world.

We will come through this, we ARE coming through this and we have much to be thankful for.

These bracelets are fab, thank you! Blessed be xxx

I received one of your bracelets from a dear friend and spiritual advisor, Ciji Locust. She has such a powerful and positive gift; I had to doubt about the power of the bracelet.

Our organization offers free wellness opportunities to the City due to the generosity of our public and private sponsors. Blessings have continued to unfold at a very rapid pace.

I received this bracelet on Tuesday night, we had an unbelievably successful corporate launch on Wednesday (our first one), we found the perfect office space that had been vacant for over two years, we had a successful part 1 pitch for another corporate wellness contract on Thursday, we took a tour of the new office space on Friday, we had a free Community Health Screening today (Saturday), tomorrow is another opportunity to spread the word about our free wellness opportunities, Monday we will find out about the new office space and plant the seed of an anti-bullying campaign.......

All of this is happening and I JUST received the bracelet. My spiritual advisor has a gift and she was spot on when she gave this to me. Thank you for creating a tiny reminder to share my light! I love the concept and could see infusing it into what we do. Thank you!

I was very excited when I received my positivity bracelet. I wear it everyday. I got it from my boyfriend's two nieces, Lauren and Sydney. I love them both very much, like they were my own kids even. It reminds me that even when times are tough and life has got you down, there are always lil ones there to cheer you right back up again! Staying positive is way more healthy and exhilarating than being a debbie downer!

My name is Michael and I just moved to NYC this year. Times are tough and finding a job for me has been even tougher. I've been extremely worried about finicial issues and last week I was cleaning out my fitting rooms at work (Nordstrom) and I found a Positivity bracelet left behind on the floor. I did not know anything about the Positivty group and I wore it for a week straight and I got called for a job that would be a dream come true. I still wear my bracelet to keep me looking up and I now am waiting for my second interview! Keeping positive.

Friends are friends because they love you, they help you, and they never leave your side. That's what's so good about friends: they accept you for who you are, not someone you pretend to be.
