A friend gave me a positivity bracelet this morning. I put it on, and it is now reminding me to be grateful for the many blessings I have. It is a joy to be thankful! And I will be thankful for the loving person that gave me this reminder.

"I began wearing a positivity bracelet two years ago when I was seeking a way to change my own thinking. At the beginning of this process, it was overwhelming  to look at the number of negative thoughts that were leading my life.  It was at this time that I discovered the idea of a positivity bracelet. The positivity bracelet links your negative thinking to a conscious, physical act of moving the bracelet from one wrist to the other and back again throughout the day as you mark your negative thoughts and replace them with something open and neutral. ... The process is kind of like cleaning out an old closet that you can’t even see into. As you discard or at least organize the clutter of habitual thinking, you actually find a refreshing space of attention available to contain other more positive thinking.  You have room to become your own friend and slowly, day by day,  this deep internal shift impacts everything you touch. The practice allows you to create and listen for the thoughts that will move you closer to the life you actually want."

I found this good advice at Wendy's Positivity Quest.

It's the small things in life that count the most, the small gifts we are given that go a long way. This bracelet was given to a group of best friends and I this Christmas. There are 6 of us and every now and then we catch ourselves in a negative slump. Just as positive thoughts can be contagious so can negative ones and in a circle of friends it can be hard to maintain this mood at all times. This bracelet really helps to know that we need to remain positive even when we hit some of darkest hours in our lives. Together we can overcome the negative and look toward all the positive things life has to offer us.

I received this bracelet from a friend on my birthday a couple weeks ago, and I think just having it on my wrist has made more positive things happen than normal. I have been in a good mood no matter what obsticals have been put in my way for the day. Thank you Raenelle for the great gift!!

I'm a public school teacher, and remembering to be positive can be difficult at times. Knowing this, my mom gave me some positivity bracelets for Christmas. I plan on giving one to each of my grade-level colleagues in order to help us all remember to keep each other positive!

A friend gave me my bracelet this afternoon. She also gave another friend of ours one so the three of us can look at our bracelets & know we have friends to help us be positive when things look negative.

My husband and I have struggled with infertility for 6 years now. We have been through 2 miscarriages and countless heart aches. Yesterday we started medication for our first round of in vitro fertilization. I have lived my life trying to fit the cookie cutter mold that I thought I needed to. Once I actually stepped away from this ideal I gained light as to what God truly has in store for me, and that is my own unique story. When we began treatment I began taking a moment before bed each night to thank God for the blessings in my life and for the blessings to come. I also practiced positive thinking. I have encouraged my friends to positively think and when I saw this bracelet it created a way for me to spread positivity as a gift to all of the people that I care about and that care about me. I cannot wait to give everyone their own set for Christmas and see the positivity spread. I cannot think of a greater gift.

I received my bracelets in September. I had come to a very bad time in my life and was in the hospital. I had an allergic reaction to a medication and almost died. A really good friend of mine (I would say the best friend I've ever had) brought them to me when I was still in the hospital. After being released I got to come home, but couldn't get comfortable with me. The experience had changed me. Now it's been two months and the bracelets were laying in my bathroom and I picked them up and read them. It was an eye opener. I then passed one back to that great friend Nicole and gave one to someone who loves me just as much. My sister in law. I am very thankful to have these two people in my life and know that without them this recovery process would not have been so easy. Now I am back to being myself and way more comfortable than I thought that I could be. Thank you Nicole for always being there for me and being that corner piece to my puzzle.
