My three positivity bracelets were an "impulse buy" at the counter while buying a birthday present for my mother. I was drawn to the aqua color, and didn't even notice the message at first! I really do believe in the power of positive thinking and random acts of kindness, so this purchase was actually a happy accident. Anyway, I bought a fancy dinner for my mother at a local inn, that night. My dad and my husband were there, as well as my estranged sister. We have not been close for a long time, and it was awkward at first. But, in the middle of dinner, I tapped her knee and handed her a bracelet for her to keep. She smiled. Perhaps this is the beginning of a better relationship!
