The people at The Group have been on a ‘positivity movement’ for 33 years, but we didn’t have a name for it until now! We often discuss and practice the concepts of possibility, abundance, and gratitude. In October, 2009, our annual meeting will be dedicated to building awareness about the ‘Posi+ivi+y Movement’. The theme is ‘Posi+ivi+y & Passion – Pass it on’. Meetings prior to the conference are already addressing positivity. At the conference we will tell the story of the ‘Posi+ivi+y Movement’ and will give everyone attending a bracelet. We will maintain an inventory of bracelets for Realtors to give away to customers as they go about their daily business. We have designated days to wear the positivity t-shirts for all office staff. The positivity movement will be posted on all of our communication including website, blog, Facebook, e-newsletter “The Buzz” and newsletter “The Insider’ . Our firm as a whole will spend the week acknowledging what others in the firm have done daily that was positive. Things such as completing tasks on-time, correctly, helping one another out, etc. Each person will be responsible to pay at least one compliment daily and will communicate by either telling there co-worker face to face, writing a personal note, or e-mailing them.
